Cycle 10

Cycle 9 was a bust for us.  Time to move on with heavy artillery!  I'm really excited to be moving forward with a plan now.  So I'm on cycle day 4 which means Clomid starts tomorrow.  I'm nervous, excited, anxious, and worried all at the same time.

Here is my up to ovulation kit:

1. Prenatal- those are everyday
2. Mucinex- to help with CM consistency
3. Pomegranate Juice- Helps with uterus lining
4. Phase 1 Chinese Herbs- This is taken CD1 to end of period to help shed old uterus lining fully
5. Clomid 50mg - CD5-9 to help with ovulation

I also forgot to mention that I've started acupuncture.  I love it so much!! My acupuncturist is also a doula and specializes in acupuncture for fertility.  90% of her practice is IVF patients.

So I take the Clomid plunge tomorrow and I'll make sure to update on any side effects I have from that.

SA Results are in!

First, let me tell you a little about E's experience at the fertility clinic.  He text me a few times saying he thought the women in the clinic were all staring at him and that he felt awkward.  I explained to him that if any of them are sitting in that clinic most likely their husbands have been in the same position.  He said the lady that called him back and gave him instructions on labeling was very robotic and impersonal.  Maybe they keep it that way to avoid awkwardness?  Anyway, he said the room walls were paper thin so he could hear all conversations taking place right outside the door.  Poor guy.....   Well the results came back and all is normal!  yay!!

My OB has now advised us to move on to our first treatment of 50mg of Clomid.  We will start that cycle 10.  I'm praying it happens naturally this cycle for us and I'll never have to pop one of those pills.  However, I'm very excited for the future and our plan as of right now.
